Why are you asking this board that? Going to Bama or not has nothing to do with if you should date. If you like the guy and want to spend time with him then date. If not don't. You think dating means start picking out wedding things? You are going to date a lot of people, it happens.

theres no right or wrong answer. just play it by ear. at the beginning of my freshman year, I met my boyfriend of 3 years at a swap. we didn't make it official until after 5 months because i made a rule that "i wouldn't jump into a relationship at the beginning of college". if you have chemistry, why not.

f you like the dude, date him. If it works out, then good for you, if not, on to the next.

I started talking to a guy before we went to Bama, starting dating August of freshman year, and dated all through freshman year and half of sophomore year. A lot of people told me not to and said I wouldn’t get the “full freshman experience”. But, I had an amazing freshman year! I still went to all my swaps, went out on the weekends, got a great GPA, and always had a date to date parties! It IS possible, just don’t ever let him hold you back from making new friends and experiencing everything Bama has to offer.
