dirty rush?
by: pmmDo houses already know which pnm's they already want before recruitment even starts? I see actives liking and commenting on class of 22's ig, which I think might as well be a promise to join

Liking and commenting right now is not dirty rushing. It is also not bid promising. You will hear lots of positive and encouraging comments from actives during recruitment: "We've been looking forward to meeting you" "So glad you came today" "Hope to see you tomorrow" "Loved talking to you" etc. This is not bid promising, it is just graciousness and good recruiting to make PNM's feel welcome and like their house, not necessarily that the house intends to carry them to bid. With all that said, social media contact from houses after May 1 is a direct violation of the No Contact Period and is considered dirty rushing.

True. All we see now are just priming the pump so to speak. Houses definitely know where they are heading and they are getting their arms around where the battle lines are and whatnot. Once May hits this slows to a drip for relatives and like coworkers. The actives can still like posts though and they will chave tiniest with that kind of show of interest
