I’m disaffiliated from my old fraternity so can I rush a new one? I already talk to people from the new house and they’re okay with it. In this case am I allowed to pledge the new fraternity?

If you have a letter from nationals, you can. But not many fraternities would bid you

If you are already disaffiliated it wouldn’t hurt to try and rush because you have nothing to lose at this point. Pledge start off at other fraternities all the time and then drop and join another one in the spring.
