can someone explain adx's hazing

That post is half fake, half exaggerating the fact that their bid day was at a park (where no one was blindfolded) and how they're "hazed" which none of which actually happens so don't worry if you're thinking about joining, the worst hazing I've heard is, oh no, they hug you a lot and pray for you and try to get to know you (sounds terrifying) without blindfolding or makeovers or whatever else was said. There's no hazing, get over this whole "bullying the Christian sorority thing"

Ex member and can confirm that’s all true but the post itself was too dramatic. Blindfolding to initiation happens but it’s really up to the big or the girls in charge of ‘kidnapping’ her. Walking in nasty stuff? Um yes. Bins full of random stuff. I mostly remember the water and birdseed bc I slipped in the water bin and my big caught me so I didn’t fall. Yeah you get a pledge name. Usually something dumb and harmless but whatever. The hair thing and writing on your shirt thing is true. The ‘hazing’ was all dumb stuff, what really bothered me was when a girl wouldn’t get a bid or would get dropped from pledgeship over rumors or he said she said stuff.
