what makes a house low in rank?

do NOT pay attention to ranks on here, they’re honestly meaningless. all sororities at bama are great in their own ways. while some are more social, you can still go to as many band parties/darties/bars as you want no matter what organization you decide to join. no one is going to deny you entrance based on what sorority you’re in.

Old southern moms, alums, trolls, and small minded sisters who never left middle school are who create these ranks. The reality on campus is that all houses are great here. All houses have strong sisterhoods. Every house has swaps, date parties, and fun sisterhood events. Every house participates in raising money and has girls in leadership positions all over campus. Every house is proud to display and wear their letters. Every house is filled with girls just like you and also amazing girls that are nothing at all like you. It is great to be a part of something so supportive. People are proud of their house and their sisters in every house. You will be lucky to run to any house here at Alabama.

The ranks come in when a few sisters in one house needs to feel superior to cover up something that is lacking or missing in their houses such as trust, sisterhood, reputation, academics, or relevance. When they are trying to create an image of the perfect house they have to put others down in order to increase their relevance. After all, how can they be best if there is no one below them? Take care of your recs, your reputation, and yourself and then prepare for the most amazing recruitment found anywhere in the entire country. Keep an open mind and heart and see for yourself. Once you are on campus a while and you know lots of girls from all of the houses you can come back here and laugh at how ridiculous these ranks are.
