can we talk about the double standards here? no one comes on greekrank talking about how AKL had a 2.63 spring 2017, or how pike had a 2.82. when it comes down to the fraternities all people seem to care about who’s the most attractive or throws the best parties. not saying a 2.87 is acceptable, but if we’re going to judge sororities by grades then fraternities should be held to the same standards.

Because sororities are based on scholarship, we are in school to get an education for Christ's sake. If you can't at least get a 3.0 at one of the easiest universities in the SEC, you need to hit the books. I am here on full scholarship, or else I'd be somewhere else where the academics are better. Alpha Phi's grades are a joke, shows where there priorities are.

nowhere in my post did i say it’s acceptable. i’m just saying that if sororities are going to be judged by grades then so should fraternities.

while I agree we should also judge the fraternities by a similar standard if we want them to judge us by such (or alternatively just not care), on average the men and fraternities have a lower gpa than the women and sororities, so I see a little bit of slack there.
