all of their new girls seem so happy and i'm so excited their numbers keep getting higher and higher!!! it's so awesome that more and more women are getting involved in our greek system <3

So was this posted by SDT or by a stalker of theirs? Like I just checked and I can’t find a pic of their pledge class or a group pic of them on bid day... so how do we know they looked so happy?

They had an insta story all day yesterday with videos of them all! They’re gone now which is too bad but I agree with OP, they looked so happy!

They had 75 on the last grade report so maybe 85 or 90 depending on how many seniors graduated. And they will participate when and if they are ready, I doubt they will be forced. Hopefully Panhellenic remembers what a disaster it was when Texas panhel forced SDT to do formal a few years ago.

y'all talk about them like they're a charity case or something. you never see people talk about Phi Mu or KD like this. stop patronizing

Maybe because KD and Phi Mu participate in formal recruitment, always make quota, and have 350+ members?

SDT is not a charity case but their success is our success and there's nothing wrong with being happy for a chapter that has seen its membership EXPLODE in the past few years.

I just want them to be able to participate in formal. If they keep growing they’ll be able to do that and help our greek system imensely. I think it’s great they’re doing well.

Participating in formal isn't help, it's tradition. The girls that go through formal participate in this traditional greek activity that leads to a very exciting time in their lives.

Responding to the commenter above me. It’s “help” in the way that our quota would be lower and our pledge classes wouldn’t be so ridiculously big. Are you even a part of Greek Life here?

Also, this may shock you, but some girls get into sororities without going through formal. It’s not that deep.
