They make up rumors and then rant and pester exec until they get their way. They threaten to stop financial support, then they lie about it and fade back into the woodwork— with no guilt and a lot of self righteousness

A good alumnae influence would be the team guiding actives on correctly following rules, policies and procedures and encouraging the actives to think carefully about their choices.
A bad alumnae influence would be telling actives who they can invite back, what their party themes will be and how to dress.
