if racism is such a problem

Why not just combine IFC and NPHC and get rid of this Jim Crow era form of de facto segregation?

How will that change individual people's attitudes? How would that stop the Harleys in the world from hating?

With several friends and friends parents involved in NPHC fraternitys, they are proud of being in a NPHC fraternity and prefer it that way. They have certain traditions, haze harder and generally do not adhere to IFC rules.

NPHC is a national organization of these fraternities and sororities. They call themselves the Divine Nine and are very proud of their legacy. It's not like Alabama segregated them out on this campus.

I definitely think that there should be even more communication between panhellenic and NPHC I don't think combining is the greatest idea. Beyond the on paper definition of sororities (sisterhood/philanthropy) the similarities end. The recruitment process is different and they don't have the same rules. They should definitely work together but combining isn't the greatest idea.

I can honestly say that joining an NPHC sorority is significantly harder than joining a panhellenic sorority TBH

I'm sure you're right; it's a completely different system.

Is why we don't do more between the groups. Go to each others philanthropy events, parties, etc. It would be a good thing.

Because beyond the fact that they’re both called “fraternities,” IFC frats and NPHC frats have almost nothing in common in terms of recruitment, pledge process, alumni involvement, philanthropy, and social events?

I love how the NPHC has their strolls and steps. Other universities with NPHC has held Step Off events where Panhellenic and IFC teams can join and they’re really fun to go to.
