I think most people consider alpha chi and chi o to be basically the same, with Chi o having more rich debutante types. Tri delt no, very smart but have an increasing party rep and took a surprising amount of grade risks this year. It will be interesting to see how the grade report shakes out this year.

Why single out ddd and xo? You are obviously a ddd. But the thing is that all these have good grades, and no one is worried about it.
What you should be worried about, ddd, is the information above. Tri Delt took a TON of grade risks and girls with questionable reputations. I would be very surprised if you don't find them further down the gpa list and getting in trouble before too long for other things.

The only xo debutantes I know are in Montgomery and they are very nice, middle class girls. I guess youare trying to create a perception but it's just not so. Also guessing you are from Montgomery.

Hasn't AXO also been tops in grades every single semester for the past 15 years or so? Besides, AXO requires their members to take part in multiple clubs and organizations so you see a ton getting involved on campus. Grades is the #1 priority. Between getting a date to Old South or 4.0 that semester, 95/100 would take the 4.0

I think you can go to Old south (interesting choice btw) and be smart. You will find many axos, xos,agds and other"smart" sorority girls at parties. Stating that these sororities choose to study instead of going to an event, is just incorrect. Now maybe they are choosing not to go out every night like the majority of some chapters. No one is forcing anyone to join clubs or make good grades.... that's just the type of girl that joins certain sororities.

Axo does not require you to be in any clubs or to get a certain gpa. They just go for girls who are well rounded and are joiners. That's the same for several sororities.
The reason Certain sororities don't have lots in clubs is bc they weren't in clubs in high school or are always drinking.

That is so sad. Looks bad for them IMO that they wouldn't care enough otherwise. What are their alumnae thinking with such a scheme?

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them rewarding girls for getting good grades. I actually think it’s a good idea and I wish my house would do it so we could climb out of the bottom half of the grade list. Good for Chi O for rewarding hard work.

I personally would also say Chi o has waaay more of the “rich debutante type” girls (than alpha chi, not more than kappa or kd obviously). Guess it just depends on who you know.
