Coming from OOS I really didn't appreciate how old row reputations are built over many years, with some grade school girls in Bama starting to think what house they dream of. As a result ranks don't change that much. It's kind of of like car brands, reputations are set despite the cars that are currently being made. Same with Bama old row and other houses, reputations survive despite who may currently being recruited. Here's the line up....
Wit that in mind
AXO - Mercedes. Great history, but nothing exciting.
Phi MU - Lexus. Stands out for style and design.
KD - Jaguar. High maintenance
KKG - Land Rover. Tradition but the party crowd likes it too
AGD - Jeep. Traditional American values
XO - Volvo. Safe but a bit quirky
DDD - Acura. Great reputation but not particularly noticed.
I'll throw in....
ZTA - Infinity. More trendy and less traditional.
APhi - Cadillac - too much chrome
PiPhi - Jeep Wrangler - Solid and a bit wild.
No slight to other houses. - a mix of Chevy's, Hyundais, Subarus and Fords - been around forever and provide lots of great experiences.

Agree Old Row is only thought positively by old Row sorority members, for the rest of the UA student body Old Row is a tag of ridicule, shame and embarrassment. Women ONLY consider Old Row if they think they have no chance of getting into a GOOD house.

KD complaining about being compared to a Jaguar automobile - sounds pretty "high maintenance" to me.
