question about those trendy chokers

Hi, I know that this has nothing to do with Greek life but I figured I'd ask here since I myself (and many others in sororities) wear these necklaces.

How can I make my own necklaces like the trendy wrap necklaces, beaded chokers, etc. that every girl on campus has?
I'm tired of paying $30+ dollars for a necklace made by someone like me when I could just figure out how to make it myself :')
