black sororities and frats

What do people think of the predominantly black frats and sororities ?? Does everyone party together? Are they involved on campus ??

My freshman year roommate is in an NPHC org, and she is very involved on campus, with her sorority and on her own. They don't seem to have the same kinds of parties we have at my sorority, but they have their own thing, and she's always doing something with them.

The guys and girls I've met through her, have all been nice. I don't think a lot of them bother to come here, but hopefully, someone who is in one will come along and answer this better than I tried to.

NPHCs emphasize community service over the social aspect. They do party, just not as hard as IFC/Panhellenic.
