why do most sorority girls have public profiles?
by: DIt seems like at every school, the sorority girls are never private and have over a thousand followers. I wanna rush so is ihis a requirement?

it's all about visibility. When you're a PNM, especially if you're oos or don't know lots of actives, having a public profile allows actives to see what you look like and what you're about. what sort of activities you went to in high school, whether you post anything inappropriate, that sort of stuff. It works the other way, too. If sororities have girls with cute instagrams that PNMs stumble across (as you have), then it piques the interest of PNMs who may want to know more about greek life.
If you have social media, just keep it clean and fun. Nothing wrong with going on vacation, hanging out with your friends, celebrating a championship win, etc, but it's pretty bad to see a 17 year old partying on social media, because they'd be a standard's/reputation risk.

Agreed, although it's a little weird when you think about it, because once you get in, it's pretty much exactly what they expect you to do!
