What are the differences? How do girls choose between these two?

They all want Kappa and the ones who can't get in go KD.

Not much difference. KKG has more out of state. Both on the more wild side. Both have major in-state focus in certain zip codes. KKG is more open to those without heavy connections from high school and seek those with more accomplishments.

As a girl that's in one of these houses let's please not get into this. OP, if you genuinely want to know, ask a friend in an OR sorority that's NOT one of the ones mentioned above. Or even better, your rho chi :)

KKG is much stronger nationally and has a wider appeal at UA

no real difference. girls choose based on who they know already and where they have legacy status. legacy pull is real at both kappa and kd

I would say most people are never really torn between KD or kappa. They usually prefer one way over the other. But most have in state girls so it’s all about who you know and legacy status. Based off Rush this year I would say KD is a bit more relevant. Both are top houses with girls from either Mountain Brook or Mobile

Kappa is more open to OOS, based on rush this year. Both have really similar vibes, and their girls are all pretty chill (in daytime at least lol). KD seems more cliquey.

they're both rich and party. difference: kappa doesn't hide they're party girls while kd acts more stuck up during the day and then you see how wild they are at night.

Kappa and KD are both popular houses, and popular with PNMs. No amount of whining on GreekRank will change that.
