cons of greek life at bama?

by: ssss

I am coming to Alabama next fall, knowing that I don't have the finances to rush and be in Greek life. I was just wondering if it is even worth it to go here, if I will feel left out a lot, or that GDI life in general sucks. Are there any benefits at all to not being in Greek life? What do you not like about Greek life? I just wanna know to make me feel at least a little bit better about my unfortunate situation. :(

I just want to say that this really sounds like a troll that really thinks Greeks vs GDI is a thing in 2017. Anyone that goes here and
who are lucky enough to have older Greek relatives knows that the
stories of how things used to be no way compare to the way it is now.

You are sooooo right. Trolls are everywhere here, and this seems totally like someone trolling.

If the worst thing to happen in your life is that you can't be Greek at at Alabama, then you're doing pretty well.

As we've said over and over lately, only 35% of people are Greek.

Being Greek or not being Greek is no reason to pick a school.

lots of non-greeks and it is all fine for them. they just need to work a little harder at getting involved and making friends and following up with people because there is less structure for them
