Stop this. It is not sorority related.

She was playing soccer, had a concussion that led to a brain bleed, has had multiple surgeries and is being treated at UAB.

This does not belong here in this manner. A coma is often induced to reduce swelling.

Lots of people. Women's soccer is third behind football and ice hockey for incidence of concussion.

She suffered a traumatic brain injury playing soccer while on a church retreat. She’s been through multiple surgeries to control the bleeding in her brain. Her recovery is looking to be an extremely long and difficult process. Please keep thoughts and comments kind because this is extremely serious. Her life as well as her family’s lives have been changed forever.
