formal signing of bid

If a girl accepts a bid and does formal pledging by signing her bid after bid day, but drops before initiation, would she be able to later come back and become initiated?

There's no way my chapter would re-do new member ed/ritual ceremonies for one girl because she changed her mind after dropping us.

It would depend on why you had to drop. If you dropped because you just weren't feeling it, then no. But if you dropped for something legit and well beyond your control -- maybe-- slim, but maybe.. If you had to take a semester off or leave school suddenly for a stretch of time or something, some chapters might consider it based on why. But honestly, it's not very common.
