tailgating visitors?

by: Tailgate

I'm a guy born n raised in Los Angeles coming to Bama and some other schools for college visits and I'm making each during a college football game day, to get the best experience possible, and I'm wondering how visiting transfers are welcomed/embraced there, and if Bama’s student body is as inviting as my last school?

I come from a VERY social and inviting campus at Arizona State University, where at tailgates if you can smile, drink, are polite and have good energy, you're gonna be friends with everyone, plus all the girls are smoking hot and really outgoing if you’re not awkward and quiet. ASU takes it personally for the opportunity of giving visitors the total “show em the ropes” treatment. Why leave?

Stopped getting funding, but my new career/job(mostly SEC ran) will pay for any SEC school for me to finish at, and they don’t care about GPA since they’ve seen me work, just that I finish a degree to look nice on my resume for their clients. I’m taking their advice and picking solely which gives the best experience & has most outgoing students since mine was robbed, so does Bama like showing the ropes?\n\n\n\n\n

Bama people are really friendly so don't worry about it.

One cultural difference you will notice is that dress is significantly more formal. I'm from Arizona and most of my friends show up to game day in ripped booty shorts that barely cover anything plus a tee shirt they've cropped and ripped up so it's basically a decoration piece for their bralette, lol. At Alabama girls are going to be wearing skirts, dresses, a lot will be in heels instead of Converse or flip flops. Guys wear ties instead of ratty tee shirts. etc. Just something to keep in mind.

Absolutely. Girls here are gorgeous, but the "look" is very different than in Arizona. People are incredibly welcoming. We love our Crimson Tide and want to share that with y'all.

Are you talking about like full on suited with dress shoes? Or like a nice pair of jeans/chinos and a button up with a tie and sperrys or drivers?

What else should I know, its my first time coming to any part of the south

Only certain frat pledges wear coat and tie to GAmeday. They are jerking you around.

No, most guys don't wear coats and ties, but attire is definitely more business casual than casual.

Alright cool, I thought that was maybe a little bit of an overstate. Business casual is totally fine, but just curious of what would be the reaction if I went totally California kid with like a beach hawaiian shirt or something haha. Sometimes sticking out isnt a bad thing either, especially if you're a first time visitor

Somebody's paying for you to go to school and they don't care about your GPA?
If that's really true, I suggest you take some basic English classes. Your writing skills suck. I don't quite know what you want. It sounds like an invitation to a tailgate party with free food, booze and hot chicks pawing you ("really outgoing").
If you're invited to such a party, what are you promising?
And what does \n\n\n\n\n mean?
