Maybe if Panhellenic wasn't so greedy we could have a lower bid match rate and let the houses have the power.

How does haveing a new sorority on campus negatively effect you? Just trying to understand the resistance and hate to SK coming here?

Having a lower bid match rate would be stupid. It's obviously better for our entire Greek community if we have the same number of girls spread out among a bigger number of houses. Or do you want to become like UT Austin where only a handful of girls rush despite being a massive, selective university in one of the strongest traditionally Greek areas of the country because it's impossible to get a bid if you aren't from Highland Park? Hmmmmmmm.

Obviously UT is an extreme that should be discouraged but the way it is now, lower houses here are forced to ask back huge GPA and rep risks in order to make quota which isn't right
(Also part of UT's problem is that the PNM's are big six or die. It's perfectly easy to get into A sorority there but it's much less acceptable to be in a lower ranked sorority, the girls would rather be GDI)

The poster wanting a lower bid match rate is an alum with illusions the NPC will revert to pre RFM days of sorority exclusivity. No such rate makes sense in the 21st century.

How about SK chill? Like they're not even on campus yet... Literally. And they're already self ranking and paying to delete ratings? Like I get it, they want a successful recolonization. But by fluffing themselves up on this site all they're doing is turning people off.
