3rd choice?

Is it just me or are we hearing more about PNMs getting their 3rd choice? A friend pledged her 3rd choice and said that on the retreat that they could find anyone that put this house first... it made of a bit of a downer retreat. Of course they are all in the same boat and can have a great opportunity to make the house their own.
But, I am wondering if more than the usual were disappointed in bid day

The girls who went to 3 prefs and end up with their 2nd/3rd house are the ones more likely to talk about it because they are upset. If you went to 3 prefs and got your first choice, or you only went to 1 or 2 prefs and got your 1st/2nd choice, you are just less likely to find it a talking point.

This. Imagine being super thrilled you got your first choice and all your pledge sisters can talk about is how it was their last choice. That sucks.
