I'm an active and my friend was at the top of our bid list and she told me she listed us first, but she ends up running home to zeta

Could it be the system actually did mess up? Very both very confused and might contact Panhellenic

Your friend is either lying to you or she wasn't as high on your list as you think. Very few people actually see the final list so I doubt you saw it.

System doesn't fail. If she was truly on top of ur bid list AND she ranked ur chapter first. Both would've matched. Either not top in list OR friend being less than truthful to spare ur feelings about her decisions. It happens.

Usually exec is in charge of the actual placement of girls in numerical order. Maybe she was "top of the bid list" but was actually ranked #145 and this house hit quota at #144.
