Where did you get this list from?

This is an ooooold outdated list from like 2009. Things have changed a lot since then. Also, I don't even know what this is based on.

I have to say I totally agree with it. I thought I'd see my letters a little higher up than they are; but I totally agree

Why do you agree?

Well for starters all the sororities in the top and middle rows are recognized nationwide. I know some sororities in the top rows even have chapters in Canada. Not only that, but famous alumnae come from all the top sorories and middle. Especially kappa and delta and chi o. How else could it possibly Be arranged? I thought zeta, a phi, and dg would be higher; but they are only top at a few colleges. Dg is most popular in Miami and west coast schools. But they aren't that popular down here. TBH. Lsu chapter sucks. A phi is good in west coast. They have great chapters, but they aren't really known for much. phi mu is only good in Georgia and in Alabama. Not much room to change things around.

You're all wrong. There was a post earlier this year where someone literally went through and did the houses with the most top tier chapters. Theta was not even in the top 5 if I remember correctly.

APhi and Kappa had by FAR the most. Surprisingly, KKG does not have as many top chapters in the South as everyone here likes to thinks. It's mainly us, UGA, Ole Miss. But these two houses dominate every other region.

DG, XO, and Pi Phi were next if I remember correctly. Then Theta and DDD. I'll try to dig up the post, it was very informative.

ZTA is COMPLETELY irrelevant outside of the South, as is KD and Phi Mu except for at a few select schools.

Tridelta is NOT that high. Sorry but it's just not. Tridelt is nothing outside of the south.

by: .

Not true. They're strong in the midwest.

Tri delt is very strong everywhere but the west coast pretty much. And even there they are present at most schools and have some good chapters.

the only girls not agreeing with this are girls who thought their sorority would be higher up.

Switch Theta and DDD. Gamma Phi belongs above SK. Otherwise, not bad.

Alpha Gamma Delta has the most active chapters of any sorority in Canada and has the second highest number of chapters in the United States. It is also the only sorority with a National Panhellenic chapter in the state of Hawaii. They were one of the first chapters to be invited to a NPC meeting.

What? There are other houses in Hawaii,

AGD and AOII both have 8 chapters in Canada. APhi has 7 but is colonizing at McGill in the fall, giving them the same number of chapters.

Phi Mu colonized at Hawaii two (?) years ago.

AGD joined NPC 7 years after it was founded. The founders were APhi, Pi Phi, Theta, KKG, DG and GPhi.

Literally all that took was a quick Google search.

almost, but switch KD and PBP and ADPi and APhi. KD and ADPi are very weak outside the south.

By: eh
by: Uhhhhhjhh

Um no. Kd and adpi are both pretty solid outside of the south. PBP is only popular at a few schools and aphi is only cool in the west coast. Adpi is strong in the east coast and up north. Kd is strong up north as well.

That is list not accurate if recruitment stats are considered.

The groups with the highest rates of returns nationally are (alphabetically):

Alpha Phi
Kappa Alpha Theta
Kappa Kappa Gamma
Pi Beta Phi

then:
Chi Omega
Delta Delta Delta
Delta Gamma

Most other groups are considerably weaker but some have regional areas of strength. At UA these would be Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Delta Pi, Kappa Delta, for instance.

This is the truth.

Okay alpha phi, you wish.

You have literally no way of knowing return rates on a national level.

Overall I think this OP list is decent. I just would move DG up to the next level.

And no I'm not a DG. My house is on here and actually exactly where I would place it.

How is adpi weaker when they raise millions for their philanthropy ? Same with kd. They have chapters in canada and are strong in the east coast and at some northern schools. Which tbh doesn't even matter. Sororities originated in the south. So the south is the only region that really matters. Sowwy alpha pee.
