weird schedule

by: Weird

I got 5 invites and they were all today. No one I spoke to has the same thing. My roommate only had 3, 2 today and 2 tomorrow.
Truth I am excited to have a break and decorate/organize my room. Might even go to a GDI house party even!

DO NOT GO TO A HOUSE PARTY

DO NOT RISK IT

I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THAT HOUSE PARTY! YOU ABSOLUTELY WILL BE DROPPED. IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE A GDI FOR 4 YEARS, DO NOT GO TO THIS GDI PARTY.

That is odd but not uncommon. My year I only had 6 for philanthropy and they were like the first and last party each day. That was horrible.
You say "GDI" house party. How can you be sure no actives will be there? What if you get in trouble? If you got arrested it would get out.
I mean if its just a few people you already know drinking in an apartment you should be fine. Still a risk but don't go to any kind of raging "open" party.

Honestly I would advise PNMs against drinking of any kind during recruitment. Even if you have a day off and it's just a few people in an apartment... you never know. This is the ONLY week of your college career that you will have to stay sober so just suck it up and do it.

Clean your room, take a walk, drive or Uber to the mall, sleep. All are better choices than that party. Not tonight, Satan.

"My roommate only had three, 2 today, 2 tomorrow".

Sorry, cracked me up. Stay in and read a math book...LOL.

I thought the same thing. Maybe just a typo as opposed to a math error.

Yes. I would believe that we are beyond 2+2. But couldn't let it slide. Noted it cracked me up - not trying to be mean.

Got the point! It just some friends from home moving into an apartment. But I don't know all the girls or any of their boyfriends. I think I'll just stop in tomorrow lol.
It would be so dumb to get dropped just because an active saw me drinking a beer coming or leaving her apartment

@Shut Up - I think OP was suggesting that she was going to stay home because people here are right, and it would be stupid of HER to get dropped from recruitment because she was seen partying. I don't think she meant that the sororities would be stupid to drop her.

OP, please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

I meant it would be dumb of me to waste my whole recruitment just so I can have a few drinks. I have a fine attitude!

I see you've already explained yourself. :) Ignore my defense above.

Good choice.
