drops

A lot of girls seemed to be getting dropped from recruitment this year. Is this normal or are the rates this year increasing?

Nope. Very miniscule amounts actually. Girls are voluntarily dropping out because they didn't like the houses they had left and telling people they were "dropped from recruitment" when in reality they were not.

The girls who were cut completely were oddballs, outcasts, extremely low gpas, combined with not having recs.

Normal, average girls who are trying are not getting dropped from recruitment all together.

Way to rub salt in the wounds of those that were actually dropped! That was just hurtful!

"OK" was not very diplomatic but they were telling the truth.

99.9% of girls who actually did get dropped from all 16 houses have extremely low GPAs and/or no recs and/or could not hold a conversation. If that doesn't describe you, then I apologize, but please know you are the exception to an exception.

I am thankfully not in this boat and have a full schedule, and yes I understand what she is saying. Those that have a low GPA are aware of it and should have been prepared, I just feel the others are already hurting and to call them oddballs and outcasts is cruel. Shy and not the best conversationalists would be kinder.

@pnm, you're being oversensitive or misunderstanding what I said. I meant they were cut for being one of those things. No one who is none of those things gets cut completely. But you don't have to be all of them to get cut.

Also, most oddballs/outcasts know what they are and don't really care.
