snap bids
by: pnmwill someone please explain how snap bids work and how someone is eligible to get one and can/if it's really an option?

PNM, stop thinking and asking about the unicorn called "snap bids".
In order for a house to be eligible to extend snap bids, they have to not make quota during bid matching. If that happens they are able to snap up to quota before bid day starts. This almost never happens. If you look at the results from the last few years, almost every house was way over quota which means they made quota and then had quota additions for pnms who maximized their options.
You cannot count on snaps even being an option - much less being one of maybe 3-5 pnms out of 3000 to be offered one.
If you still have houses on your schedule - even just one - finish the week and maximize your options at Pref. This is your best and probably only chance to join a sorority.
