did anyone else get contacted before rush?

Did anyone else get contacted by actives before rush? I got contacted by 4 girls from the same house and we had great convos and they even wished me happy birthday and stuff on Facebook. They were super friendly towards me but their house dropped me first round. Did this happen to anyone else?

Probably Alpha Chi or Alpha Gam. They are the queens of the fake interest. They want everyone to want them. I think they get some sick pleasure out of stringing girls along with all their phony "we can't wait to be your sister", all the while, they are planning to drop you first thing.
