should i rush in spring?
by: HSo I got dropped by a lot of houses because of my grades ( im barely in yellow zone ) I only got invites back to 3 houses and of the houses I have had left , I don't really connect with any of their philanthropies. If I get like a 4.0 this semester would I have a better chance at having more options in the spring if I rush again? Trying to trust the process but just curious

Spring rush is almost nonexistent here and usually only for girls who are close with lots of girls in a chapter. I would recoomend sticking with it, after bid day give it a few weeks because you really can find your home. Then, if you don't like it, drop before initiation and rush next fall. But keep in mind that almost every sorority here is the same honestly. People try to say they are so different but with 400 girls in a chapter, you can be happy in any house. If you are not happy, it's more about your attitude than the house or the girls in it.

Please please please please do NOT drop! Spring rush is not worth it!! Take it from me, last year I felt the same way but honestly when I got my bid and really met my sisters and found me group, I fell in love with my sorority and it was all worth it. Even if you aren't 100% on with their philanthropy does not mean you can't support those who you like but got dropped from! Philanthropy does not end at your sorority!

I didn't care at all about my houses philanthropy until I was a member and got involved with it. it doesn't stick out in the crowd of houses that help kids with diseases and cancers, so I didn't really feel drawn to it. But it totally changes once you're involved and see it for youreself! Stick with it!
