piece of advice from an alum

by: Alum

First off, I just want to say how beautiful all of you PNMS are. I was volunteering at my house this week and I just want you all to know how great y'all are! This is the hardest but most rewarding week of your life. Out of curiosity, I came to look at this site because I heard some awful things. The negativity on here is incredible. If you listen and follow the comments on here, then I'm sorry to say you will not end up in a house that makes you happy. BE CONFIDENT IN YOUR FEELINGS. That is the only way you will be in the house you're supposed to be in, not by listening to your rho chi members or the posts on this site. Good luck the rest of the week girls!

She's Baaaaccckkkk....

Psycho KD killa.

Maybe the security obsessed mom has a daughter who want in KD!

If so, I'd be asking about cameras, locks, security guards and restraining orders too!

Seriously. @Bottom of New Row is going to end up on the news someday with everyone commenting "she showed all the signs. I'm not surprised".

Most rewarding week of your life? Yikes!!!!!!!

Never mind graduating, getting into grad school, first job, passing the bar, wedding, having children, a promotion, your first house, volunteer service....

Or, just a really good vacation with family and friends!

Keep it in perspective girls (and alumnae and Moms)!

No wonder the PNMs are stressed "most rewarding week of your life".

One of the most memorable, yes.

Most "rewarding" - no. Greek alumni and not a GDI.

No, you are not 'an alumni.' No one is 'an alumni.'
Singular feminine = alumna, plural feminine = alumnae, singular masculine = alumna, plural masculine = alumni.

For all you know two transgendered former sorority girls could have wrote it!!! So alumni could be correct.

Hey Alumna - technically a group of male alumnus (yes that is the masculine singular) are alumni (masculine plural. You should brush up on your latin. us (masculine) - a (feminine) -um (neutral gender)

Also - why so mean and hateful to a sweet alum who is trying to compliment you and reassure you. So rude ladies.

This is really the wrong message to send. And yes everyone is valuable and unique but not beautiful. You can't possibly see "inner beauty" that fast. So wrong. You are talking to the PNMs like they are pre-schoolers not young adults.
