actives at rush?

Are all actives required to participate in rush or no?

I have a neighbor/friend in a house and I didn't see her today, and my mom told me tonight she is still home so apparently she's not participating in rush?

I thought all actives would be required to participate in rush??

You're generally required unless you have a late internship/job and can't be back to campus on time, you're abroad, or you have some other reason.
