From what I've seen, a lot of Tuscaloosa native girls don't rush... Most of these girls have been born and raised in this sort of college town atmosphere so when it is time for them to go to school, they're kind of over the whole party scene and don't need to use Greek life as a social status kind of thing.

However, of those who do rush, they usually go Old Row because of whatever friends they have who are actives. And from I've also seen, PNMs from Tuscaloosa aren't that "highly sought after" especially compared to PNMs from other more affluent areas of Alabama.

Disagree. Lots of great girls. There are people like you describe though.
