cops
by: adshow strict are the cops in bama??? I'm an incoming freshman and I got caught underage drinking at a house party this summer and got a citation. I don't want to get in trouble again but I love going out. Will I be putting myself at a high risk going out to parties? also I have a fake id, is it hard to use those at bars?

With a fake you are rolling the dice because ABC is always in the bars. Parties at fraternities are usually safe. In general the biggest rules are make sure you can walk, and talk, and arnt obviously wasted and if you see cops get rid of your drink. If you are somewhere and cops show up, if you don't have a drink and you conduct yourself like a respectable human they will usually leave you alone. If you are stumbleing, slurring your words, puking, or doing stupid stuff only a dunk person would do then you're asking to be arrested. When you drink too much go home asap

If you hear ABC is town, be really damn careful with alcohol. They make money off each arrest so they will arrest for anything. Don't buy alcohol with a fake(even at a restaurant), be careful with drinking at a restaurant/bar, don't go with an older friend to a liquor store, etc. it's just not worth it.

Yea that's very accurate^^ I know most the schools my friends go to (all over the country) are a lot stricter tho. maybe ive just been lucky but I've used a fake (only a handful of times) but ive def been publicly and visibly drunk but usually if you dont make the biggest scene youre fine.. its somewhat about being in the wrong place at the wrong time honestly
