Panhellenic is telling PNMs recs are optional.

Actives tell PNMs not to read this site (where we say recs are super important and are surprised PNMs don't have them).

-- Confusion with some PNMs about recs (hence all the posts).
-- Quality PNMs are surprised they get dropped after IWT.
-- Lower tiers end up with a percentage of new members that should have been dropped, but they can't drop them

I don't know about other houses, but in my house if you don't have a rec and you're not some super cute outgoing genius chances are you're getting dropped at IWT... it's 2017 get your recs

At some houses recs are required or you are dropped after IWT.
