On this thread about where u went and what you pledged, does it seem odd that so many didn't get their first choice? I thought that was fairly unusual to occur.

The numbers are definitely skewed because some girls only have one house to pref so of course they get their first choice. Some have 2 at pref so no possibility of getting third choice. Just make sure you list all houses after pref and you will end up somewhere. Reality is at that point you have no control over where you get your bid it is all determined by where the actives place you on their bid list.

I don't think it's anywhere near 85% even though they say that. I agree with the post above of it being around 70%. 2 out of 3 girls getting first choice sounds right. 66%.
