Maybe if your BF has a lot of friends in a few top sororities it might make a difference because those actives will already know who you are? but honestly there are so many PNMs coming through we don't care about those little details unless we know you personally through your boyfriend.

I hope you took the time to meet girls in good houses through your boyfriend... if not its a little too late. It won't hurt you if you don't, but it definitely can help you if you have in house girls vouching for you saying "Oh she's dating a ________ and I've hungout with her at tailgates and date parties! She's so fun and nice!!"

To all PNMs: Just in general, please don't talk about your boyfriends. Yes, it's great you found someone you really care about but actives aren't interested in hearing about him... Is he looking to join the sorority? No, you are, thus why the conversation should be about yourself. Obviously, if it comes up then don't sweep it under the rug... And I mean if someone asks you where you got your bracelet from and if your boyfriend gave it to you then say it was a gift from him... But don't go on about how amazing high school was with him and how nervous you are to be away.
