what would you do differently?

Not in the sense of choosing a different house per se but if you could go back and do something different during rush what would it be?

1. i would've gotten a hand held fan before rush. so many people told me to get one but i never did. huge mistake.

2. i would've put more effort into my outfits... they were fine but i could've definitely polished them up more.

1. I would have gotten recs to every house
2. I would have researched what is trendy fashion-wise at Alabama, I'm from the northwest and my style was so different from all the girls rushing
3. I would have been more outgoing in the houses and in my rho chi group. I was so nervous that I ended up not really being my fun, normal self

At the end of the day, I ended up in the house I was supposed to be in and it's perfect for me. However, I only had one house on pref and I wish I could have felt like I had more power during rush

I would have talked to my rho chis more and tried to get to know more girls in my rho chi group

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I also wished I'd known that the houses choose us, and that we didn't just walk in and pick!
