best and worst things about living in tut

Bad:
Having to share a bathroom with 20 messy girls
Floor mates are loud
Walls are thin
Living above the fifth floor

Good:
Julias
Cleaning staff

Bad:
- it's just very grubby. sometimes i genuinely avoided going home bc it was so nasty and i felt that i could never get it clean
- the built ins are back to back with your neighbors built ins and there isnt a wall so you can hear literally every word they say. my neighbors played the song "sit still look pretty" on repeat every day the entire first semester.
- the cooling/heating system is completely backwards. it's freezing in the summer and hot as hell in the winter

Good:
- location
- location
- location!!!!
- community bathroom means you dont have to scrub toilets and there was always a stall open
- basically your entire pc is just an elevator ride away
- you can always find a pregame
- starbucks is right next door

all in all i really enjoyed my time in tut and would recommend it to anyone. the bathrooms are actually really nice (but I did live on a low floor) and i loved being so close to my sorority house, but I have heard some horror stories about bad roommates so just be careful about that. if you're on the fence about it i'd definitely say go for it; i know tons of girls who have moved to tut after living in a suite bc they know they're missing out.
