Not sure bc I'm not in either one, but the strike me as places that you wouldn't need one if you have the look they want. They're not nearly as competitive as they lead a lot of PNMs to believe
If you don't have recs I would get them though, why set yourself up for failure if those are houses you are interested in?

despite all the random bs on here about insta makeup and contributing nothing, ZTA and APhi are two very popular chapters nationwide. ZTA is the second largest NPC group. I find it difficult to believe that you can't find a single alum to write you a rec. Even if they're not your cup of tea right now, why make rush any harder on yourself than it needs to be?

THANK YOU for realizing that APHI isn't a good sorority nationally. Yes they have a lot of "top" chapters but those chapters are just known for having the hot girls. Look at top chapters across the national of Theta, XO, and AXO... They're so much more than appearances, they're chapters of substance.

Regardless of their reputation, we're talking about recs, and APhi has a lot of potential rec writers because they have large chapters at large schools ACROSS the country. It shouldn't be terribly hard to find recs for them because they have a lot of sheer graduates.

Also, if your argument is going to be that APhi isn't terribly strong/historic in the south, that's fair, but ZTA is. You should AT LEAST have one or the other, no excuse for neither.

They are the two chapters with highest drops/cob rates. Not "good recruiting" chapters
