new member retreats

Honestly I personally found the bid day retreat kind of dorky hahaha you're not allowed to drink on them which means it's just a lot of like hanging out and taking pictures. Some houses go the same place every year and some switch it up. Houses go to orange beach, a baseball game in Montgomery, the yacht club in Tuscaloosa, six flags, etc

some go to hotels, some go to six flags or montgomery, the beach, glamping, the lake, it all depends! honestly you're exhausted and a lot of people don't have all that much fun because it's been such a long week and all you want to do is sleep! don't stress if you don't immediately connect with a group of girls! it takes time :)

i think a lot of chapters send members of their exec to help out like the previous commenter said but their purpose is to bond with your pc so it'll mainly just be that! :)

Yes yes yes. So many girls feel like they ended up in the wrong house just because they don't immediately have a friend group. Especially if you didn't end up in the same place as your roommate/anyone from your high school/any of the girls you met before coming to campus/etc. I am a senior and I am STILL becoming friends with girls from my pledge class, I didn't start hanging out with my now-best friends until literally the last month of freshman year! Don't feel pressured if it's not happening immediately, there's a lot of girls to meet before you find your people!
