sororities dropping you
by: .I heard that sometimes if a house keeps you for too long, then they can't drop you before pref... Is that true?

so I'm guessing you're thinking after pref not before pref. Any house can drop you going into pref from sisterhood but once you pref a house you're on their bid list somewhere so if you rank them first you have some chance of getting them. You'll only get your 2nd or 3rd choice if you're a good bit higher on their bid list.
OR sometimes if the girls in the early rounds give a pnm a high rating then even if the actives in later rounds hate her it could be hard to balance out her early ranks.
OP tell me if either of those were what you were looking for or if u need me to expand.

Sorry I don't mean to be confusing but I don't really know which scenario it could be... I've just heard from various people that sometimes if a girl is kept by a house for multiple rounds then they can't drop her at the end... And I think the people who told me that were referring to all PNMs, not just legacies. They also explained that that's why some weird girls or girls you wouldn't expect in certain houses end up getting bids.

WRONG. You don't automatically get the house whose bid list you're highest on.
You only get your second or third choice if you're not high enough on your first choice's list. (i.e if quota was 150 and you were 151 you wouldn't make the cut.)
