about how many sophomores get bids per pledge class?

There's not a set amount for any house. Every house does take sophomores though, usually between 1-10 I'd say during formal rush.

if you have good grades and involvement and can hold a conversation you should be fine, the numbers are just low because not a lot of sophomores rush

It's honestly because there aren't that many sophomores who rush! My rho chi group probably only had like 3-5 upperclassmen
