I've never heard of anyone filming their run home. I know in the past some sororities have had drones that fly over just so they can use it in a montage video as a hype video for rush... But it's sweltering, you're kind of lost, and you're really stressed/anxious so the last thing you want to do is hold a camera. Also, I couldn't imagine that the footage is that great considering it would just be blurry.

I did with an action camera and I love going back to look at it! Definitely recommend. I just stopped the video while I looked for my name so I could focus on my big once I found her

Tripping on curbing or over your shoes while running and holding a camera; yeah, I'd want to record that while my phone/camera breaks during the fall.
