Was that the result of a rush crush?

I had a Rush Crush back in the day. This gal was the total package. Great resume, adorable, easy to talk to and sarcastic in the right kind of way. I had a great time talking to her.

The problem was that she was an in-house legacy from another sorority and although others in my sorority liked her, I did have to fight for her, because everyone assumed that she'd want to go with her legacy house and wanted to give the spot to someone else. She's became my Little and a great addition to our sorority, so it worked out.

Rush at Alabama is too big for "rush crushes." I know what you mean and when I was a PNM I heard about them a lot through movies, shows, YT videos, etc. And when I was rushing I thought that it would always be the same girl rushing me... But like 98% of the time, if you're asked back to a house, you will not speak to the same girl. That being said, you can't develop a "rush crush," or in other words, you can't continuously see and speak to the same PNM and develop a "crush." I mean, I'm sure some actives speak to some PNMs and really like the girl and hope she ends up in her house, but it's not like a drawn out thing.

As I said, rush at Alabama is too big. Actives speak to at least 10 different girls every day of rush. We can't speak to the same PNM every single day and it's rare that you even see her walking through the house just because everything's going on so fast and there's so many people.
