How important are recs? Is it fine only having one rec for a house? I am having trouble finding a recommendation for 5 houses

If you can only get one for those last five houses, that would do. But make sure they get in. At least one.

You're really just making the houses job more difficult. Unless your recs are from REALLY well connected and influential alums any more than two is totally redundant and kind of annoying. The reason we ask for two is partially just in case one of the people doesn't get around to writing it when they said they would.
