I'm sorry that you see this side of of Greek community, but you need to understand this is an outlet for actives to gossip. The majority of people on here are actives, with a few PNMs, moms, alum, GDIs, etc. thrown in. If this is your only outlet for information about Greek life then maybe you're not looking hard enough for answer. I don't mean to be rude, but to condemn anonymous people in a community you're not even a part of is rude. I understand that a lot of PNMs come from families where they may be the first to go Greek or they come from areas where Greek life isn't popular, that was my experience, but I utilized what I had... There are countless amounts of articles, videos, blog posts, etc. that explain Greek life in great detail. And there are multiple bloggers and YouTubers who currently go to Alabama and are in Greek organizations that have shared their experience and can shed a lot of light. Again, not trying to be rude, but your post was out of place.

@act, you need to get a better attitude. This it for gossips. It only has value to pnms who want to prepare for recruitment. Plus your info is wrong most of the time. Like on the no contact you where you got bossy then called out and shown up with the actual 2017 rules. Just quit. Please.

lol u do realize that multiple different people use the name "act" or "active" right? just because there are multiple responses from people under that name doesn't mean it's all coming from one person...

LOL I said multiple times I wasn't trying to be rude. My point is that this site's main purpose is for actives to use among themselves... Not for PNMs to get answers to broad questions. I even gave examples of different outlets PNMs could use to gain more information about various Greek related topics. Are there rude people on here? Yes. But what do you expect? And do you really think a little post from a girl who doesn't even go to this school yet is going to make a difference? Lol, spare me.
