1. Most swaps are just for freshman. Every now and then there will be a "full house swap" which is where anyone in any class can attend the swap. But essentially, swaps are for the freshmen because it's a "safe" way to introduce them to the party scene on campus. Also, every class gets to experience swaps, so it's not like the upperclassmen never got their time.
2. Most upperclassmen love date parties. They're a more mature version of swaps.
3. Homecoming, Greek Week, and Derby Days are more for the freshmen. Homecoming week: Freshmen are expected to do most of the pomping and they're the ones who walk in the parade, sophomores/junios/seniors usually have a required amount they need to pomp but it's very minimal. Derby Days: Freshmen are expected to participate in all of Sigma Chi's activities, as well as attend the parties. Sophomore/juniors/seniors can attend if they want, but they usually don't. Greek Week: Literally the same as Derby Days.
4. Upperclassmen who still want to be involved in the house can apply for Exec positions as well as take on certain events... Someone can design and oversee the pomp for HoCo, someone can be in charge of the girls for Derby Days/Greek Week, someone can host a Bible study, etc. At a certain point, upperclassmen are only still apart of their sorority because they enjoy the social benefits and/or they're directly involved in the house. Tbh, you'll rarely see seniors and even juniors around unless it's time to eat lol.

I also want to mention that by the time junior/senior year rolls around, most girls realize that Greek life isn't everything. As an incoming freshmen, I know how important rush and everything seems, and your freshmen and sophomore years are definitely going to be revolved around your house, but as the years go by you have less responsibilities in the house. You also begin to mature more and see that sorority life isn't the most important thing that's going to happen in your life... So, a lot of upperclassmen will take up jobs, internships, SGA positions, and other responsibilities on campus to better their resumes and/or pursue opportunities relating to their major/future career, which is why they're not expected to participate in things like HoCo, Derby Days, Greek Week, etc.
