by: !!I preffed 2 top tier old row houses and one new row. I had my heart set on my first two (OR) and was not crazy about the NR at all. I even debated on even putting it down after pref! but I did, and ended up getting it on bid day. And honestly? I was upset. I LOVED those other two houses, the girls seemed so fun, but it wasnt me. Going into college I was trying to be something I'm not, and they knew that more than I did. Looking back I genuinely would not have fit into those houses. I am so happy with my house and found myself so welcomed into the kind and genuine sisterhood I'm apart of now. Every house is great, OR or NR, but you just have to remember to go where the girls will love and embrace you. Dont get caught up on rankings or OR or NR. your letters wont matter in a few years anyways.

According to Panhellenic you have ~80% chance of getting your first choice, ~15% chance of getting your second choice, and ~5% chance of getting your third choice. It's not common but it just depends on where you fall on the bid list
