This is right. AXO gets bad pub on here for being nerdy, which many of them are, but AGD is definitely the awk house on old row. Tons of girls that were fringe players in high school and were sorta hangers on for the popular crowd. But then the popular girls end up somewhere else at Bama, leaving those girls stranded at AGD (and to a lesser degree KD).

On OR, the Top girls ( the achievers and high school miss everything) usually go chi o and alpha chi and phi mu. About 1/2 of AGD are the awesome achievers and others are just partiers who couldn't get in the other OR they wanted. KD and Kappa are notorious for losing girls (including legacies) to these because they don't want to just be party girls.
Oppositely, Chi O and AGD lost a lot of legacies last year to sororities who did want to party.
Trust me, there are nerdy girls in every old row sorority but they are not accepted very well by the other members.

From what I've seen there are a good amount of girls in aopi that are similar to the girls in pi phi, however pi phi is a little more cohesive whereas aopi is more of a grab bag of girls

Alpha Gam are nice girls, but like they said above they are kind of awkward. Chi O is just really smart girls, while Alpha Chi is similar but tends to have more desire, despite all the hate they've been getting. KD got in tons of trouble for snams this year but girls in it absolutely love it. KD tends to have mainly Alabama girls. No matter where you go you'll find pro's and con's to everything.

Ignore the people above, they probably don't even go to Bama. You're allowed to like whoever you want,but when you go through rush your opinions can totally change. There are KDs that are happy just as there are other sororities that are happy... I'm sure they didn't take a poll of the whole chapter. What I thought I loved totally changed within the last two rounds. You'll be fine.
