by: Anin

If I know a houses recruitment chair is telling their girls to dirty rush and I have proof, can/should I tell someone or do something? Like is it serious or should I just ignoring it.

Wel as you can see the rules may not have been broken. If you are not sure and want to report them go ahead. You would basically get yourself dropped by a house that really likes you so there is that.

Whatever a PNM tells Panhellenic stays strictly confidential. Stop trying to scare them just because your house operates on a lack of integrity. The fact of the matter is that there should be no contact whatsoever between actives and PNMs, obviously excluding those on an okayed contact list. If actives are telling PNMs that they want them to "be their littles," then that's wrong. Simple as that.

If you think they won't find out you are too naive to give advice with such a strong tone. You obviously don't know. There are more leaks in panhel and rho chi world than anywhere.

What does Actives comment to #12 mean....
"The fact of the matter is that there should be no contact whatsoever between actives and PNMs, obviously excluding those on an okayed contact list."

It's in the rules under no contact. The rules are on panhel page

There are rules about rush set out by Panhellenic. One of those rules is that there is NO contact between any PNMs and actives from May 1st until Bid Day. This includes: comments on social media posts, texting, talking in person, etc. The only way an active may speak to a PNM during this time period is if a PNM is approved for an active to speak to... So this means that the active and the PNM will literally have to interact during the time period, so they could be sisters, cousins, coworkers, etc... So that's what the "okayed contact list" is. Most girls don't have one because most actives have literally no reason to speak to PNMs over the summer.

"Friends" are includable silly. The contact list is not limited to family and coworkers.

Friends are not included. It's girls you must have contact with. If you're friends with a PNM then you can go a few months without talking anyways...

@no you are wrong. Here it is straight from the 2017 guidelines:

i. A maximum of 5 names of potential new members with whom an active sorority member has normal contact with must be turned in to the Panhellenic Association Director of Judicial Affairs prior to the date of no contact on May 1. The Director of Judicial Affairs will set the date that this list must be turned in by. Normal contact implies relatives, friends, neighbors, and coworkers.

So your bold statement that "friends are not included" may need to be revised... silly.
