theta and gpb question

I am completely serious here. Before all this, did anyone ever think that Theta or Gamma Phi Beta self-ranked themselves to the top spot on here or that Theta was super competitive about not being top in grades even though bare decimals separate everyone? Does anyone know if both are told to get on here as a group?
I liked them okay in rush. I never was planning to pledge but I liked them fine. There is a girl in one of my other organizations who is a Theta and a friend. So I am just wondering if this has always been the way they operate?
I have several friends in another sorority they called the bottom, which is not ranked in the top 5 on here, and they are some of my closest friends. I know they would never hop on people this way or see themselves as oppressed by anyone.
So I am honestly asking if this is a known thing or just an overly sensitive member.

i am in one of these houses-- I actually don't think we have "self ranked ourselves to the top"-- personally I think that other houses (the more competitive ones) give each other really bad ranks and that would naturally push other houses that are less competitive to the top of the rankings. Either way everyone knows the rankings don't mean anything anyways.
And no, we are definitely not encouraged to get on and rank ourselves.. I'm pretty sure most of my sisters don't know this website exists actually.

Tbh, as someone in a different sorority than the ones you mentioned, I don't think that Theta or GPB girls are told specifically by their sorority to come on this site. For most, this site is pretty taboo - meaning it's more of a guilty pleasure and not something openly discussed in sororities. I mean, let's turn the question back on you... Were you told by your sorority to come on here, self rank, and point out the good aspects of your house? Probably not... Which is the same for all other houses here.
In terms of your self ranking remark, all houses have girls that self rank. In all honesty I've left my house a few nice ratings every once in a while and I'm sure every girl reading this has as well. If you look at the ratings specifically, I'd like to point out that you can see the actual number of ratings each house has... Some houses have a significantly higher amount than others... For example, GPB has a little over 600, Theta has a little under 500, AXO has almost 700, AGD has almost 450, and DG has a little under 600. When you look at the bare numbers, you see that houses like GPB and AXO have higher amounts yet are still within the top 5 in terms of individual ratings. While other houses like Theta, AGD, and DG have significantly less yet are also still in the top 5. Conclude what you will from that.

yes, but if you READ the ratings, you can see the inflation and exaggeration of theta and gpb. axo had about 30 negatives put on it recently so obviously those were from someone else.
the poster asked, did anyone think of KAT and GPB as negative or self-ranking sororities before this.

Seems to me that y'all are just trying to further pick on Theta and GPB. If you take time to sit down and read the ratings for all the houses, you'll see the same things over and over again... You'll see 5 star ratings with paragraphs of how great XYZ house is and then 1 star ratings with paragraphs of how awful XYZ house is. This isn't just something among Theta and Gamma Phi.
Also there are so many negative ratings on AXO recently because a lot of people are upset with them.
Stop acting like AXO is the victim. They have a few negative ratings recently? Okay, well Theta, Gamma Phi, and literally all other houses have PAGES of negative ratings. But I doubt you'd acknowledge that because it doesn't fit your agenda that Theta and GPB are the only two houses self ranking.

TBH I don't think gpb is any worse about self ranking than most houses, they've been ranked #1 for as long as I've been using GR so I think they must have self ranked a lot like 2+ years ago and the ranking still reflect that even if they don't do it as much now.
Theta seemed to do it an average amount until this week when they have gone CRAZY with the self ranks. Y'all need to chill out lmao

I'm confused by the question. Every single house has girls who leave their house good ranks and other houses bad ranks. Why single out gphi and theta? Because they have traditionally been easy to pick on?
